The photographs on this page are from when I went to the Mclaren factory to see their Formula 1 racing car project.
All of these pictures are from the old Mclaern factory at Woking.
The first seven photographs are of the car (model MP4/14) which was driven
by Mika Hakkinen. The car is in the same condition as from finishing and winning the 1999 Japanese grand prix at Suzuka (and
also the drivers chapionship).
The last five pictures are of the car (model MP4/8) driven by the late
Ayrton Senna. The car is in the same condition as of finishing the final race of the 1993 season (as of with Mika Hakkinen).
The final race that year was in Adelaide Australia, and Ayrton won that race. Unfortunatly it ended up being his last win.
