On this page you will see the photographs of when Hugh Cornwell appeared in the Derby Assembly Rooms, on the 16th March
2003. The show was to promote the "Song by Song" book which he was involved with, as it literally explained the meaning
of each song by The Stranglers he was involved with (1974 - 1990).
Unfortunatly the show was not as good as I thought it was going to be. I think this is because the room it was in was
big and lacked the right atmosphere, which is nothing against the Derby Assembly Rooms, it just seems to be the way buildings
are now. Also it did not feel the same to me when everyone is seated watching one person playing onstage, without any drinks.
I think due to what is stated above I think the photographs are not up to my usual standard.
